    Greetings from the Tournament Committee

On behalf of the Canadian Soccer Association and Soccer Nova Scotia, I would like to extend a warm welcome to the teams competing in the Sr. Men's Hyundai Cup and Sr. Women's Jubilee Trophy October 3rd to 8th, 2007.

The Local Organizing Committee has worked very hard to make this championship a memorable experience for all the players, coaches and fans accompanying the teams.

Congratulations on winning the opportunity to represent your province or territory at these Nationals.  I, on behalf of my committee, trust that the Championship tournaments will provide competitive games for the participants and forge new and lasting friendships for the players and fans.

Once again, best wishes for a successful tournament.

    Marie March
    Organizing Committee Chair

A message from the Premier of Nova Scotia

This fall, Nova Scotia looks forward to welcoming the men’s and women’s soccer champions from across Canada to the 2007 National Club Championships in Halifax.

Soccer has become such a popular sport in our province. You will be warmly welcomed by fans and fellow players. I know the teams will enjoy the location for the nationals - the Mainland Commons in Clayton Park. This is a new field and is in a growing part of the Halifax Regional Municipality.

For those players and supporters who will be travelling to the national club championships, I hope you will include in your travels, time to tour around our capital city and the surrounding area.

In the lead up to the championships I wish the best of luck to all teams. Play hard. Play fair. And don’t forget to always enjoy the game.

    See you in the Fall!

    Sincerely,

    Rodney J. MacDonald
    Premier of Nova Scotia
